Artist Liaison
The
Artist Liaison is a key position with the Festival. The
successful candidate will work directly with the artists attending the
Festival and be responsible for all artist needs leading up to and
including the Festival.
These needs include all travel and
accommodation requirements, freight logistics, special requests and any
and all hospitality needs throughout the event. As the lead
liaison with the artists, the successful candidate will have an
outgoing personality, a can-do ethic and will be comfortable working
with artists from a variety of backgrounds.
We are looking for:
- a mature, friendly and energetic individual
- interested in, and familiar with Northern arts and culture
- a strong background in tourism, travel or hospitality
- well-organized and able to deal with problem issues head-on
This position reports directly to, and is under the supervision of the Executive Director of the Festival.

Database Manager
The
Database Manager is responsible for maintaining the inventory and sales
databases for the Festival. Using a highly-developed proprietary
Microsoft Access database, the successful candiadate will work closely
with the Pricing and Inventory Manager, the Sales Manager, the Curator
and the Gallery staff.
Responsibilities
will include entering all art inventory and sales information into the
database - the Festival gallery features over 100 artists and 2500-4000
pieces of art.
We are looking for:
- a mature, friendly and energetic individual
- formal training/experience with Microsoft Access databases

a strong background in multi-tasking in a busy environment with
above-average time-management skills
- well-organized and able to deal with problem issues head-on
Working
with the Gallery staff, this position reports directly to, and is under
the supervision of the Executive Director of the Festival.
